Few days back,my lappy got infected by spyware called Windows Proactive Safety.This all happened while i was surfing net.when i started browsing net by google chrome after 1 0r 1.5 hours, there popped out a meesage in the browser showing like your computer is at risk.then i click on that message thinking that the message was actually shown by my installed antivirus,which was not actually.the moment i click on the message a data started to download.which after download i installed unknowingly wondering what data it is? after that the so called fake virus got controlled over my lappy's operating and was interrupting my system.this is how it looks like:-
Windows Proactive Safety is a rogue (fake) antivirus program that is distributed through the use of trojans. This malware hijacks an Internet browser, reports false infections, displays various fake security alerts that your computer is infected with a lot of viruses and trojans to trick you into purchasing the full version of the software. Remember, this fake antivirus is unable to detect or rid your system of parasites nor will be protect you from legitimate future threats. You need to remove Windows Proactive Safety from your computer as quickly as possible.there are few ways which i got in the net that i tried out but nothing comes out fruitful.but later on i decided to reboot my windows to get rid of that fucking spyware.During installation, the rogue configures itself to start automatically every time, when your computer loads. Next, this fake security program will start to scan your computer and reports a lot of various infections that will not be fixed unless you first purchase the software. Important to know, all of these infections are a fake and do not actually exist on your computer. So you can safely ignore the scan results that Windows Proactive Safety gives you.
After infection i got panic and tried varied ways to remove the mentioned spyware by searchign ways to get rid of this in the net but none of ideas worked for me may be becuse i am not that a computer geek.even i tried anti spyware and anti malware softies to remove the virus but couldn't get through this.finally i decided to reboot my operating system to get rid of this fucking malware/spyware and so i did. after which i got new operating system and no signs of that very "windows proactive safety".
Lastly,i would like to suggest my fellow friends to reboot the system whenever you got attacked by this virus or fake antivirus and say bye bye forever to "windows proactive safety" virus or if you want to surf net without rebooting you system then run the laptop in "safe mode with networking" only then you can surf net else not."so be smart even while surfing net."
